There are so many characters in entertainment media who makes us miserable, crack jokes, and cherish our mind with joy. When it comes to the argument of fantasy movies it’s totally about magical creatures with unusual mannerisms included with ingredients like a basket full of magic, a teaspoon of the sword, main items like a prince, a beautiful princess, dark evil, and supporting witches to make a typical delicious castle fantasy dish due to these reasons the relatability towards the characters is infrequent. In the 2017 film The Ash Lad: In the Hall of the Mountain, Espen's character was relatable with a distinct personality from the other members of his family, they scold him but never make him feel alone. Yes, Espen is the son of a poor farmer, a handsome man with a hairless face, who has a preference to spend time on adventurous journeys and is smart at taking decisions in exceptional ways. Initially, the character is presented as a lonely one of his family which makes us sense that reciting the protagonist of fantasies. As the story progresses we feel more affiliated with his family, even if he was the only motive for burning their only house his father never let him be lonely in the woods. The protagonist got encouragement during the greatly desired time from his brother Per. So, I felt Espen is more relatable to the typical families surely a family will compress a person like him who always owns the love of concern from beloved ones which hidden in the bitter scolds but finally will change the overall fortune of the family, the birth of a notable.
