Dramas focused on different hooks romance, comedy, family-oriented, investigation, psychological, etc. To take vengeance against the antagonistic father of the heroine the hero is planning to marry his antagonist's daughter and treat her like a maid or if I say another overview hero marries the heroine in misbelieving that her family treated him badly in the past, for the revenge he had adultery with heroine’s sister in both the case the mistreatment towards the female lead character through forced sex, torturing her verbally and physically even some time abort the fetus without her permission just by declaring that 'you never deserve to carry my child'  I can't connect with this words from a person who is totally out of the mind for rage and says he loves her the most. Puff, these are some random summaries of some recently watched dramas. Then why these toxic dramas are having more demand? why this theme is encouraged? And what is the intention of the makers? In my viewpoint, if a simple romantic drama with a lovable couple will have the least demand than a couple with conflict this conflict will increase curiosity in the audience. when it comes to a miserable but forgiving female and a harsh but guilty hero can increase internal conflict in our minds, we become more concerned about the character and wait for the truth to disclose in front of them this internal tension among the audience is utilized by makers hence this theme is encouraged. Infidelity, domestic violence, forced sex, harassment, and verbal abuse became normalized and feminine tolerance creates a perfect innocent forgiving female lead. The titles of some YouTube videos like ‘rude boss and crazy or dump female fell in love’ are just common nowadays a representation of ugly heroine means wearing specs with curly hair and pimple pink cheeks like most common teens with hormonal stimulations, these toxic concepts portrayed in romantic, family and teen dramas will make a big impact among the youth.
