Consistent Balance to Imbalance- A character analysis
of Hercule Poirot
We might be normal with the appearance of detectives
with long black coats and smartly pointed hats that can entirely cover their
faces. In most cases young people with tremendous grasping qualities or elderly
with lengthy experience but this character from the 2017 movie Murder on the Orient
Express. An elderly man with a youthful personality owned a blue iris and a
long partitioned beard parallel to the lips, the stylish slim walking stick. His
personality makes him unique at the same time consistency which is rarely seen
in investigation movie themes. He is having a steady personality who measures
to analyze and only sees the world in two poles, so he was leading a very
perfect, organized life with a strong belief in the absence of the mix of both
extremes. The incident in the high-class express was a life-changing moment in
the character's life. The other characters who were involved in the murder
taught him to see the world differently, for each individual the world will
treat distinct natures to accept multiplicity should be prioritized. This
reality forced Hercule Poirot to change his consistency for this moment by
understanding others' intentions without supporting their action.
